Vinimilo 2024

From 26 August to 8 September, the oldest and longest-running Sicilian event dedicated to the wines of the volcano returns to Milo, bringing together experts from all over Italy for fifteen days to identify development strategies and projects: Vinimilo, the historic event now in its 44th edition with a hybrid formula for wine experts and wine lovers.

Meetings for experts with debates, comparisons and wine tastings designed for large and small producers, oenologists, university lecturers and researchers, sommeliers and tasters; at weekends, the party in Piazza Belvedere with the ‘pop’ event for the general public.

On stage, against the backdrop of the sculptural group dedicated to the much-loved Battiato and Dalla – artists who have linked part of their lives to Milo – will be Sicilian agricultural and food excellence, organic and zero-km products, Slow Food presidia, and small artisans who are the guardians of ancient crafts. Above all, eagerly awaited by wine lovers, will be the enthralling experience of the open-air Enoteca: the large tasting counter with over one hundred labels from Etna and Sicily for tastings guided by sommeliers and the Wine and Flavours of Etna Road Association.

Also kicking off will be the second edition of ‘’White Clusters 2024‘’, a project of the Regional Department of Agriculture for the valorisation and promotion of typical regional products, with particular reference to carricante, one of the most identifiable grape varieties of the Etna area, through thematic conferences, master classes, and market exhibitions.
