Explore the ancient trade routes and mysterious marine depths of Ustica, an island rich in history and charm in the heart of the southern Tyrrhenian Sea.

Ustica, which has always been a crossroads of cultures and peoples, has seen Punics, Greeks and Romans pass along its shores. Evidence of this fascinating past is still visible in the seabed at Punta Gavazzi, where numerous anchors tell of vessels seeking shelter in its sheltered waters.

Follow the itinerary between 10 and 24 metres deep, a fascinating journey through Roman and Byzantine artefacts. If you are a certified Open Water diver, you can dive and discover this underwater treasure. Those who prefer snorkelling will also be able to admire the finds in the shallower sections.

The starting point is a buoy to the north of Punta Gavazzi, but you can also start your adventure directly from the mainland, using the platform in caletta Gavazzi.
