Le Vie dei Tesori Festival 2026
Dettaglio
From 19 September to 15 November 2026, Le Vie dei Tesori Festival returns, the cultural project founded in Palermo in 2006 that transforms cities into large open-air museums, opening to the public places that are often little known or normally inaccessible. The Festival brings together institutions, organisations, associations and local stakeholders through guided tours, itineraries and experiences dedicated to discovering the historical, artistic and cultural heritage.
The 2026 edition also marks an important anniversary: Le Vie dei Tesori celebrates its twentieth anniversary in Palermo, the city where the project was born. Since then, the Festival has gradually expanded, involving numerous towns and cities and developing a programme that guides visitors through palaces, churches, theatres, museums, archaeological sites, archives, gardens and urban spaces.
In Sicily, the 2026 programme includes Alcamo, Bagheria, Carini, Caltanissetta, Catania, Corleone, Enna, Leonforte, Marsala, Mazara del Vallo, Messina, Palermo, Ragusa, Santa Flavia, Sciacca, Termini Imerese and Trapani. Mantua is also part of the national circuit.
The first Sicilian cities to launch the programme, from 19 September to 4 October, are Alcamo, Bagheria, Carini, Enna, Leonforte, Mazara del Vallo, Messina, Termini Imerese and Trapani. From 10 to 25 October, the Festival continues in Caltanissetta, Corleone, Marsala, Santa Flavia and Sciacca; Catania takes part from 9 October to 8 November, Palermo from 9 October to 15 November and Ragusa from 24 October to 15 November.
The programme includes guided visits, tours and experiences designed to offer new ways of exploring cities and their heritage, based on a model of participation and collaboration between public and private organisations.
