Almond Blossom Festival 2026

From 7 to 15 March 2026, Agrigento will come alive with colours, music and dance for the 78th edition of the Almond Blossom Festival (Mandorlo in Fiore), the city’s most iconic and identity-defining event, celebrating the beauty of spring and the universal values of peace and fraternity among peoples.

Originally conceived as a celebration of nature’s rebirth, the Almond Blossom Festival has evolved into a major international folklore festival, with artistic groups from all over the world parading through the city streets and the evocative Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Music, traditional costumes, folk dances, concerts, tastings and cultural reenactments come together in a rich programme that pays tribute to Sicily’s roots and to intercultural dialogue.
