La Natività di Maria. Arte e tradizione a Trapani

From November 29th, 2025, to June 30th, 2026, the Agostino Pepoli Regional Museum in Trapani hosts the evocative exhibition “La Natività di Maria. Arte e tradizione a Trapani”.
This showcase celebrates a unique cultural heritage from the 18th century, focusing on the elaborate theatrical displays of the Virgin’s birth. Visitors can marvel at the exquisite “Presepe della Bambina” (The Child’s Crib), a detailed reconstruction of the palace of Saints Joachim and Anne, featuring delicate wooden and wax figures in period costumes and miniature furnishings.
It is a rare opportunity to experience the profound connection between spiritual devotion and master craftsmanship in the heart of Sicily.
