Cous Cous Fest 2026

From 18 to 27 September 2026, San Vito Lo Capo will host the latest edition of the Cous Cous Fest, the international festival dedicated to bringing cultures together through one of the Mediterranean’s most iconic dishes. For ten days, this seaside village on the Trapani coast will be transformed into a vast hub of flavours, music and dialogue, welcoming chefs, artists and visitors from all over the world.

At the heart of the event is the Cous Cous World Championship, a culinary competition in which international chefs compete in preparing traditional recipes from their respective countries, in the spirit of cultural exchange and conviviality. Alongside the international competition, the festival offers cooking shows, tastings, talks, wine tastings and in-depth sessions dedicated to Mediterranean culinary culture.

The Expo Village comes to life along the historic centre and the seafront, a lively market of Sicilian crafts and food products, whilst the Cous Cous Houses offer visitors dozens of recipes from different traditions around the world. Rounding off the programme, major concerts and free shows on the beach enliven the evenings in San Vito Lo Capo in an atmosphere of celebration and togetherness.

The Cous Cous Fest thus reaffirms itself as an international event capable of uniting peoples, flavours and traditions, celebrating Sicily as a crossroads of cultures and dialogue in the heart of the Mediterranean.
