In the heart of the Val di Catania returns the Sagra della Mostarda e del Ficodindia di Militello, an event that celebrates the most authentic flavors and traditions of Sicily.
Between tastings of hot mustarda, fragrant prickly pears and local specialties, the village comes alive with exhibitions, guided tours, Sicilian cart parades, folk groups and marching bands.
At sunset, the squares turn into open-air theatres under the stars, where sounds and dances tell the story of rural culture and the gastronomic excellences of the territory.
