Mostarda and Prickly Pear Festival 2026

On 9, 10, 11 and 16, 17 and 18 October 2026, the Mostarda and Prickly Pear Festival returns to Militello in Val di Catania for its 34th edition, dedicated to two products that symbolise the local area and to its gastronomic traditions.

For six days, the historic centre comes alive with stands, tastings, shows and initiatives dedicated to culture and folklore, offering visitors the opportunity to discover flavours, products and customs linked to the local community.
The main protagonists of the event are mostarda and the prickly pear, alongside other local specialities. The programme guides visitors through gastronomy, music, folk traditions, beauty and art, within the urban setting of Militello in Val di Catania.
