Perched at an altitude of over 1,000 meters in the heart of the Madonie mountains, Gangi is one of Sicily’s most charming and picturesque villages, voted Italy’s most beautiful village. Its stone houses climb up the slopes of Mount Marone, creating a mosaic of roofs and alleys that seem to blend into the surrounding landscape.

The perfectly preserved historic center is a maze of churches, noble palaces, and medieval courtyards, where art and tradition coexist in harmony. Among the most emblematic sites are the Mother Church of San Nicolò di Bari, with its evocative crypt of mummies, and the Castle of Ventimiglia, a symbol of feudal power.

Gangi is also a village with a lively culture: it hosts artistic events and historical reenactments and offers breathtaking views of the Madonie Mountains and Mount Etna. Here, time seems to slow down, giving visitors an authentic experience of nature, history, and the quiet beauty of Sicily.
