Vulcano – Ich Sunt Leones – Italian Open Water Tour 2025

Description

On October 18–19, 2025, the island of Vulcano, in the Aeolian archipelago, will host the “Swim the Island” stage of the Italian Open Water Tour, a free-water competition merging sea beauty and athletic challenge.

Races include Super Smile Swim (3 km), Relay Swim, Hard Swim (6 km) and Smile Swim (1.8 km). Courses cross the bay of the Black Sands Beach, offering breathtaking natural scenery.

Athletes will dive into a setting that blends adrenaline with volcanic wonder, celebrating open water swimming amid the energy of the Aeolian seas.
