Tolkien exhibition in Catania

Catania, the Palace of Culture is transformed into a portal to Middle-earth with the exhibition “Tolkien – Exhibition Dedicated to the Author of The Lord of the Rings.” From March 8 to July 31, 2025, fans of fantasy literature and culture will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of one of the most influential writers of the 20th century.
The exhibition, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, offers an interactive journey exploring the life and scholarly work of J.R.R. Tolkien, author of such timeless masterpieces as The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Through multimedia installations, rare documents and linguistic insights, visitors will discover Tolkien’s lesser-known side: the professor, philologist and creator of extraordinary worlds.
A unique experience to admire the author’s creative process up close, understand the meaning of his works and be transported by his epic stories.
