Segesta Theatre Festival 2025

The Segesta Teatro Festival, now in its fourth edition, returns again this year, taking place from July 25 to August 24, 2025 in the magnificent setting of the Segesta Archaeological Park in Calatafimi Segesta (TP). Under the artistic direction of Claudio Collovà, the festival offers a rich program of events ranging from theater, music and dance, with the aim of combining contemporary performing arts with Sicily’s cultural heritage and landscape.

The program includes 11 concerts, 20 plays produced by 10 companies, 4 choreographies, 6 national premieres and the participation of 8 companies under 35, offering a platform for young talent and new productions.

Among the events not to be missed:

• July 25, 9:15 p.m.: Eugenio Finardi opens the festival with the concert Tutto ’75 – ’25, celebrating his 50-year career with a repertoire that spans his artistic evolution.
• July 26, 7:30 p.m.: Lino Musella brings to the stage L’ammore nun’è Ammore, a poetic journey through Shakespeare’s words and Neapolitan tradition.
• July 27, 7:30 p.m.: Laura Morante performs Notte di…, a show that explores the nuances of the human soul through theatrical storytelling.
• Aug. 22, 7:30 p.m.: Giuseppe Pambieri and Claudio Collovà present Oedipus, a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic myth that reflects on issues of identity and destiny.

The performances will take place in two exceptional locations: the Ancient Theater, oriented toward the Gulf of Castellammare, and the Temple of Aphrodite Urania, both set in a breathtaking landscape that amplifies the artistic experience
