Scenica Festival 2026

From 22 to 31 May 2026, the town of Vittoria, in the heart of the province of Ragusa, will host the 18th edition of the Scenica Festival, an event dedicated to contemporary performing arts that transforms the historic centre into a vast, open-air stage. Squares, courtyards and historic buildings become open performance spaces, welcoming national and international companies in a continuous dialogue between artistic languages and the urban environment.

Directed by Andrea Burrafato and organised with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Sicilian Regional Government and local institutions, the festival offers a rich programme that weaves together theatre, contemporary circus, dance, music and performance, complemented by workshops, talks, exhibitions and opportunities for deeper engagement. With over thirty companies involved and numerous national and regional premieres, the 2026 edition reaffirms the event’s multidisciplinary and inclusive nature.

Scenica Festival presents itself as a shared space for experimentation and participation, capable of engaging diverse audiences and offering the city a vibrant, collective cultural experience, where art becomes an opportunity for encounter, reflection and openness to new horizons.
