From October 24 to 26, 2025, the village of Mezzojuso (PA) revives its autumn spirit with the historic Chestnut Festival, a three-day celebration making a long-awaited return.

Nestled on the slopes of Rocca Busambra, the region’s signature fruit takes centre stage in events including tastings, sensory workshops, guided walks through chestnut groves, show-cooking and evening concerts in Piazza Umberto I featuring artists such as Goran Bregović and his Wedding and Funeral Band. A call to experience flavours, emotions and community in a village where the chestnut stands as an emblem of autumn vitality.
