Radica Festival 2025

From 10 to 12 July 2025, the charming village of San Marco d’Alunzio, in the province of Messina, will host the seventh edition of the Radica Festival, a free event celebrating art in all its forms, sharing, and urban regeneration. Organized by the Tre60 Lab association with the support of the Municipality, the festival will mainly take place in the former Badia Grande Monastery, transformed into a vibrant cultural center for the occasion.

Radica Festival 2025 Program

10 July – Opening Day

8:00 PM: opening of the visual arts exhibition featuring works by Alice Valenti, Lorenzo Cassarà, Andrea Sposari, Francesco Algeri, Trinidad, Vincenzo Scuscetta, and Mohammad Sabaaneh.

Start of the collective workshop led by Marcella Cilona, active throughout the festival.

10:00 PM: music performance by Mattia Camuti and Fabrizio Scianò.

DJ set by Sumbakkos, offering a mix of house, tribal, and community-driven electronic music.

11 July – Second Day

“Multispecies Room” performance by Dara Siligato and Totò Volturno, exploring the relationship between art, science, and biodiversity.

10:30 PM: concert by Le Cumbinate, a female music collective with Afro-Amerindian and Afrobeat rhythms.

Final DJ set by Radio Tropico AM, with vinyl selections from tribal to electronic sounds.

12 July – Third Day

3:00 PM: theater workshop by Patrizia Ferrari at the Auditorium of Santa Maria dei Poveri, focusing on the narrative role of the chorus.

7:00 PM: performance by Bronagh Slevin with “Rewilding,” blending voice, cello, and Irish roots.

9:30 PM: theatrical performance “Rivelazioni” with Giada Baiamonte, Fabiola Arculeo, and Marzia Coniglio.

10:30 PM: concert by Afrodream, blending African rhythms and Western melodies.

Closing DJ set by Kristian Kouyate, pioneer of Afro-electronic culture in Southern Italy.
