KinEst Fest 2025

The KinEst Fest is the international festival that transforms Catania into a stage dedicated to Central European cinema.

The fifth edition brings international guests and directors to the city, together with a selection of films ranging from family dramas, road movies and comedies to works with social themes.

The festival is not only an opportunity to discover new voices in the European film scene, but also a meeting point between cultures, languages and generations.

Screenings are accompanied by debates, workshops and cinema walks through the heart of Catania, to experience film at 360 degrees. From CUT to Centro Culture Contemporanee Zo, up to Arena Adua, the festival embraces the city’s liveliest places, turning them into spaces of dialogue and creativity.

An event that enriches Sicily’s cultural offer and strengthens the bond between the public and international cinema, making Catania a true protagonist in the European festival scene.
