Jonio Fair 2026 in Acireale

From 4 to 13 September 2026, the Fiera dello Jonio returns to Acireale, a long-established event dedicated to craftsmanship, food production and local businesses. The stands will be set up in the historic centre, just a short distance from Piazza Duomo and the city’s main monumental churches.

Founded in 1932, the Fiera dello Jonio has its roots in the ancient Fiera Franca di Santa Venera, established in 1422 by Alfonso the Magnanimous and linked to the trade of products from the Etna area. Over time, the event has maintained its connection with tradition while broadening its focus to include new products and businesses.

For ten days, the exhibition route will bring together stands dedicated in particular to Sicilian craftsmanship, local food and agricultural products, as well as cultural and local promotion associations.
