iDesign – Palermo Design Week

From 27 September to 6 October 2024, the longest-running design week in southern Italy returns to Palermo with the concept: ‘’GOING TOWARDS WORLDS – Design moving through time and space‘’. This new edition aims to explore the different meanings of travel in the physical, mental and spiritual sense.

The event will make it possible to examine design in relation to travel as an adventure, experimentation of new practices and awareness of needs and requirements that, in the course of life, lead to migration and hybridisation phenomena. A travelling humanity that, by moving and reconstructing itself elsewhere, also becomes the starting point for investigating the theme of mobility. Numerous events and installations will be held during iDesign 2024 in Palermo‘s most beautiful buildings.
