FAI Spring Days are a unique opportunity to explore the hidden treasures of our territory. Also this year, Sicily participates with a rich program of extraordinary visits to sites of inestimable historical, artistic and natural value, often inaccessible to the public.
Thanks to the commitment of the volunteers of the Fund for the Italian Environment (FAI), you can enjoy an immersive experience among the wonders of the island, rediscovering places symbolic of our culture and tradition.
Open sites in Sicily
During FAI Spring Days, historic mansions, gardens, archaeological sites and quaint villages will be accessible throughout the region, offering a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with Sicilian heritage. Some of the open places include:
- Historic palaces and noble residences, evidence of the island’s rich aristocratic past.
- Archaeological areas, for a journey back in time among the ancient civilizations that inhabited Sicily.
- Monasteries and convents, often closed to the public, that hold treasures of art and architecture.
- Gardens and historic parks, to admire the extraordinary Mediterranean biodiversity.

An authentic experience discovering the island
Participating in the FAI Spring Days in Sicily means living an authentic experience, accompanied by experts and volunteers who will tell the history and curiosities of the places visited. An unmissable opportunity for tourists and residents who want to learn more about the island’s heritage.

- How to participate: Reservations through the FAI website are recommended.
- Contribution: Access to the places is free, but you can leave a donation to support FAI activities.
