FAI Spring Days 2026

On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March 2026, the FAI Spring Days return, the major national event dedicated to discovering Italy’s cultural and landscape heritage. Sicily is also taking part with numerous special openings that allow visitors to explore places of great historical, artistic and naturalistic value, many of which are not normally accessible to the public.

Promoted by the FAI – Italian Environment Fund, the FAI Days have been a real collective celebration dedicated to the culture and beauty of the territories since 1993. Thanks to the commitment of thousands of volunteers and FAI delegations active throughout Italy, for an entire weekend it will be possible to explore historic buildings, churches, gardens, archaeological sites and other places rich in history, accompanied by stories, curiosities and insights that reveal their value and identity.

In Sicily, the initiative offers the opportunity to rediscover fascinating corners of the island, including noble residences, monasteries, archaeological sites and historic parks immersed in the extraordinary biodiversity of the Mediterranean. A journey through art, nature and traditions that allows you to learn more about the island’s heritage and the communities that preserve it.

Taking part in the FAI Spring Days means enjoying an authentic experience and contributing to the protection of Italy’s cultural heritage: visits are free, and donations collected support the conservation, enhancement and education activities promoted by the Foundation.
