The theme “Passions and Illusions” identifies the central aspects of the texts chosen for the Syracuse Classical Plays of the 2024 season, now in its 59th edition.
The programme will stage, from 10 May to 29 June, the classical plays Ajax by Sophocles, Phaedra Hippolytus the Crown Bearer by Euripides and, for the first time ever at the Greek Theatre in Syracuse, Miles gloriosus by Plautus.
