2026 Sicilian Red Orange PGI Festival

Detail

From 24 to 26 April 2026, Centuripe, a charming village overlooking Mount Etna, will celebrate the twelfth edition of the Sicilian Red Orange PGI Festival, an event dedicated to one of the island’s most iconic products.

For three days, the historic centre comes alive with tastings, markets, shows and entertainment that highlight the deep connection between the local area, agriculture and tradition. The blood orange, with its unique qualities and its role in shaping local identity, takes centre stage in a journey through authentic flavours, local recipes and artisanal products.

The event offers a packed programme designed for all ages: folk performances, parades of Sicilian carts, street artists and children’s entertainment alternate with evening shows, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Among the most evocative events, historical re-enactments, falconry displays and folk music and dance groups bring the charm of local traditions to life.

The event also offers an opportunity to discover Centuripe and its scenery, with unique vistas and spectacular views of Mount Etna, in a setting that combines culture, landscape and flavour.

The Festival of the Sicilian Red Orange PGI invites visitors and enthusiasts to enjoy an authentic experience, where the region’s food and wine heritage intertwines with the identity and hospitality of the area.
