Orestiadi of Gibellina 2025

The Orestiadi of Gibellina return in 2025 with their 44th edition, confirming themselves as one of the most significant cultural events in the Mediterranean. From June 27 to Aug. 3, the Sicilian town will host a series of events spanning theater, music, dance and visual arts, under the artistic direction of Alfio Scuderi.
This year’s theme, “Listening to the Past, Looking to the Future”, invites reflection on historical memory and future prospects through the language of art.
The events will take place mainly at Baglio Di Stefano, home of the Orestiadi Foundation and the Museum of Mediterranean Plots, and will be enriched by the presence of art installations such as Mimmo Paladino’s famous “Salt Mountain.”
