ViniMilo 2026

Detail

From 27 August to 13 September 2026, Milo will host the 46th edition of ViniMilo, a long-standing event dedicated to the wine culture of Mount Etna and a late-summer gathering for producers, enthusiasts and wine lovers.

Established in the late 1980s, ViniMilo showcases the Etna region through a programme that combines tastings, masterclasses, talks, research, culture and biodiversity, bringing together producers, oenologists, sommeliers, researchers, journalists and industry experts. At the heart of the event lies the connection between wine and the landscape of Milo, characterised by the terraced vineyards that stretch across the eastern slopes of Mount Etna.

Particular attention is paid to Etna Bianco Superiore DOC, a distinctive expression of local viticulture which, according to the production regulations, may be produced exclusively within the territory of Milo, predominantly from Carricante grapes. This wine provides an opportunity to explore the history, characteristics and evolution of wine production on this side of the volcano.

ViniMilo also retains its traditional dual character. Alongside the in-depth sessions and tastings aimed at enthusiasts and industry professionals, the first two weekends in September feature a street festival, which opens up the story of Etna wine to a wider audience.

The event thus provides an opportunity to get to know the local wineries and producers up close, discover the work of the men and women involved in the wine industry, and explore the relationship between viticulture, the landscape, the community and wine tourism.
