Taobuk Taormina Book Festival

Taobuk, June 18-23, an international literary festival, gathers the tradition of Taormina as a cosmopolitan capital of literature, and the arts in general, a refuge for eccentric and excellent personalities.

Each year Taobuk chooses a theme, around which the calendar of meetings takes shape, with the competition of authoritative writers, thinkers and artists, in a tight flow of ideas, novelties.

The theme of the 15th edition of Taobuk is based on “Boundaries: It divides and unites. Unites and Divides.” conceived and directed by Antonella Ferrara.

At the center of the kermis is literature, through the point of view of international writers. The Taobuk program schedule, however, is also embellished with exhibitions, theater performances, dance pièces and film retrospectives, in evocative locations, first and foremost the Ancient Theater, along with the City’s palaces and grand hotels.
