Sicily Music Conference

Detail

From 13 to 16 May 2026, Palermo and Catania will host the fifth edition of the Sicily Music Conference, an international event dedicated to the contemporary music industry and new forms of artistic expression. For four days, the two cities will become a vast creative laboratory open to artists, professionals, cultural operators and enthusiasts, reinforcing Sicily’s role as a hub for exchange and connections in the Mediterranean.

Featuring panels, workshops, showcases, meetings and networking opportunities, the event offers a comprehensive programme dedicated to the economic, social and environmental sustainability of music, exploring the value of art as a tool for dialogue, participation and cultural innovation. Alongside training and discussion sessions, there will also be live performances and showcases by emerging talents selected through international calls for entries.

Organised in collaboration with European cultural organisations and networks in the music sector, the Sicily Music Conference reaffirms itself as a dynamic and inclusive experience, capable of weaving together music, regions and communities, transforming Palermo and Catania into a creative bridge between cultures, visions and new artistic perspectives.
