Sicilia Jazz Festival 2026

From 27 June to 12 July 2026, the Sicilia Jazz Festival returns – the only festival in the world entirely dedicated to orchestral jazz. Conceived by Ignazio Garsia and organised by the Sicilian Regional Government in collaboration with the Fondazione Orchestra Jazz Siciliana – The Brass Group, the event features concerts, original productions and events taking place across Palermo, Catania, Selinunte and numerous other locations on the island.

At the heart of the event is the collaboration between leading national and international artists and the Sicilian Jazz Orchestra, which takes centre stage in productions created specifically for the festival. The 2026 edition will feature leading names such as Kurt Elling, the multi-award-winning performer on the global jazz scene; Tony Hadley, the legendary lead singer of Spandau Ballet; Tosca alongside saxophonist Stefano Di Battista; and Francesco Renga accompanied by trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso.

Alongside the main concerts, the festival will bring the historic centre of Palermo to life with hundreds of events at the Real Teatro Santa Cecilia, the Complesso Monumentale dello Spasimo, Palazzo Chiaramonte Steri, the Teatro di Verdura and, for the first time, the Botanical Gardens. Through the Sicilia Jazz On Tour project, the music will also reach various cities across the island, bringing orchestral jazz to venues of great historical and scenic value.
