Holy Week in Barrafranca is an event of great religious and cultural significance, which transforms the small Sicilian village into a stage of intense spirituality. Every year, the streets of the town are filled with emotion and devotion with the traditional processions, which feature members of the local brotherhoods.

From Good Friday to Easter Sunday, the faithful and visitors can enjoy a unique experience, between solemn rites and moments of reflection, in an evocative atmosphere full of history. The celebration culminates with the Procession of the Dead Christ, which passes through the streets of the town, creating an atmosphere of great emotional intensity, while the participants unite in prayer.
