Round Aeolian Race 2026

From 25 to 27 September 2026, the Round Aeolian Race returns, the offshore regatta linking Capo d’Orlando with the Aeolian Islands and challenging crews and boats along one of the most distinctive stretches of the Sicilian Tyrrhenian Sea.

Now in its eighth edition, the event awards the Admiral Giovanni Iannucci Trophy and features a competition in which strategy, endurance, technical preparation and teamwork play a central role.

The course runs between Capo d’Orlando Marina and the Aeolian archipelago, with navigation requiring close attention to wind conditions, currents and the tactical choices made by each crew.

The Round Aeolian Race is part of the offshore sailing calendar and is an event for sailing enthusiasts, with the Aeolian Islands forming the backdrop to the competition.
