Paths of Sicily

An exciting photography exhibition is coming to Sicily for the first time to celebrate the island’s historic and spiritual routes. Already on display in Santiago de Compostela in 2023 and Assisi in 2024 , the exhibition offers a visual journey through villages, sanctuaries and breathtaking landscapes, testifying to the growing interest in slow tourism.

Official opening: March 29, 2025 Oratorio Quaroni, Palermo

The exhibition will be open until May 4, 2025 with free admission, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

On the occasion of the exhibition opening, participate in the Study Day “Paths of Sicily. History, Art and Beauty in the Jubilee Year,” an event dedicated to the enhancement of experiential and sustainable tourism.

Sicilian Walks on the rise.

In recent years, more and more travelers are choosing Sicily to walk itineraries of faith and nature. In 2024, the number of certified walkers increased by 29 percent nationwide, exceeding 191,000 people.

The event is promoted by the Sicilian Region’s Department of Tourism, Sports and Entertainment and is a unique opportunity to discover Sicilian walks through photography.
