Palermo Classica International Festival 2026

From 25 July to 20 September 2026, Palermo Classica returns – the international festival which, for the past sixteen editions, has brought the Sicilian capital’s summer to life with a rich programme dedicated to music. For almost two months, some of the most fascinating venues at the University of Palermo are transformed into open-air stages, hosting concerts, recitals and symphonic performances featuring artists from all over the world.

With over 60 international musicians and 40 events, the festival offers a journey through the great repertoires of classical music, complemented by jazz, film scores, tango, opera and fusions with symphonic rock. The programme combines tradition and innovation, offering musical experiences aimed at a wide and diverse audience.

The main venues for the event are the Botanical Gardens, the Steri Monumental Complex, the Steri Concert Hall and the Steri Cloister – settings of great historical and architectural value that help to make every concert a unique experience.
