From 6 to 8 June 2025, Ragusa Ibla becomes the vibrant heart of Sicilian culture to honour the centenary of Andrea Camilleri, beloved author and creator of the famous Inspector Montalbano.

This unmissable event blends literature, gastronomy and Sicilian traditions into a sensory journey through the landscapes and flavours that inspired the writer.

Theatre performances featuring renowned artists like Moni Ovadia, Mario Incudine and Cesare Bocci will bring Camilleri’s iconic stories to life.

Workshops, debates and talks will explore the world of Inspector Montalbano, while Slow Food tastings inspired by the novels will offer an authentic taste of Sicilian cuisine.

Evening concerts under the stars will light up Piazza Duomo, and during the day visitors can join guided walks through Ragusa Ibla’s baroque treasures, natural beauty and local flavours.
