Dettaglio

The Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa Literary Prize is awarded every year, since 2003, to writers whose works address social issues linked to the encounter between different cultures. The Prize takes place in the park of Palazzo Filangeri in the first ten days of August, during which it is possible to attend musical events, shows and book presentations.

The jury is chaired by professor Gioacchino Lanza Tomasi, adopted son of the author of “The Leopard”, and composed of Italian literature teachers such as Salvatore Silvano Nigro, Giorgio Ficara and Mercedes Monmamy.
