San Cono celebrates its symbolic fruit every year with the Prickly Pear Festival, an event that turns the town into the “capital of the bastardone”.

This special prickly pear, born from the scozzolatura technique, offers larger, sweeter and more fragrant fruits compared to those harvested in summer.
