Gattopardo Festival 2025

In the heart of the Terre Sicane, Santa Margherita di Belìce is preparing to host the 20th edition of the Gattopardo Festival, an event that pays tribute to the work and thought of Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, author of the famous novel The Leopard. From Aug. 1 to 3, 2025, the city will come alive with literary meetings, cultural cafes, concerts, tastings and performances, culminating in the prestigious awards ceremony to be held on Saturday, Aug. 2 at 8:30 p.m. in the picturesque Piazza Matteotti, with the backdrop of the majestic Palazzo Filangeri-Cutò.

The Festival, included among the Great Events of the Sicilian Region 2025 and an integral part of the program of “Agrigento Italian Capital of Culture 2025,” represents a unique opportunity to experience the magic of literature in a context rich in history and beauty.
