Catania Archeofilm
description
From September 25 to 27, the majestic Ancient Theatre of Catania hosts the first edition of Catania Archeofilm, an international festival dedicated to cinema, archaeology, art and environment.
Every evening at 9 p.m., with free admission, audiences can enjoy screenings of films from around the world and join meetings with renowned archaeologists and scholars.
The program alternates international masterpieces with discussions that explore ancient history and today’s challenges. The event concludes with two awards: the Catania Archeofilm Prize 2025, chosen by the public, and the Sebastiano Tusa Prize, awarded to those who excel in promoting cultural heritage.
