The most beautiful Carnival in Sicily -the third most important in Italy -comes back, as every year, in the wonderful baroque setting of the historic center of Acireale .
Between allegorical floats and masked parades, the Acireale Carnival is one of the oldest on the island, attracting tourists from all over Europe.
This year the Carnival celebrations will begin on Saturday 15 February with the inauguration of the exhibitions and the grand opening parade, until the final evening of Tuesday 4 March, in which the awards ceremony for the masked competitions and the most beautiful allegorical float will take place as usual.
