Bellini International Context
Description
The Bellini International Context 2025 returns to Sicily from September 13 to 28, transforming the island into a grand stage dedicated to the genius of Vincenzo Bellini. A festival that celebrates operatic tradition while opening new paths for dialogue between music, art and innovation.
The edition opens with the prestigious Gala di apertura, bringing together orchestra, choirs and soloists in an evening of emotions. Highlights follow, such as the night dedicated to Bellini, Rossini and Donizetti, an encounter of masterpieces exalting the great Italian school of the nineteenth century.
Looking to the future, the surprising CircusOperaShow blends opera, dance and circus arts in an innovative performance. The climax will be the long-awaited staging of Il pirata, a romantic masterpiece that conveys the dramatic strength and melodic refinement of the Catanese composer.
The festival is an invitation to experience Sicily through music, discovering unique places and atmospheres that enchant an international audience.
