Pantelleria is an Italian municipality with 7,327 inhabitants in the free municipal consortium of Trapani in Sicily. The municipality covers the entire island of Pantelleria, which covers more than 80 km² and is located 110 km southwest of Sicily and 65 km northeast of Tunisia, whose coastline is often visible to the naked eye.
