11th Maria SS. della Visitazione Tournament 2025

From 4 to 6 July 2025, Enna will host one of the most anticipated events of the Sicilian summer: the 11th Edition of the Maria SS. della Visitazione Tournament, organized by the Archers of the Castle of Enna. A national event valid for the FITAST-FITARCO championship, it combines sporting passion, culture, and spirituality in the heart of central Sicily.

An event of history, sport, and tradition
Created to honor the Patron Saint of Enna, the event is a true medieval reenactment that attracts hundreds of participants and visitors each year. The historical archery tournament is not just a competition, but an opportunity to discover the beauty of inland Sicily, enhancing its monuments and local traditions.

2025 Edition Program
Thursday 4 July – 6:30 PM: at the Torre di Federico, the ceremonial investiture of the archers will take place, marking the official and evocative start of the tournament.
Friday 5 July – 6:30 PM: the Palio of the Ancient Districts and the Regnum Siciliae Trophy will be held, two competitions that evoke medieval Sicily and involve the whole community.
Sunday 6 July – from 8:00 AM: grand finale with the Maria SS. della Visitazione Trophy at the Castello di Lombardia. From 9:00 AM, the medieval games area for children will open, organized by the Magma association.
