Water Festival 2026

From 30 April to 3 May 2026, the beach at the Hotel Lido Sirenetta in Isola delle Femmine, just outside Palermo, will host the fourth edition of the Water Festival, an event that celebrates the sea as a place of energy, sharing and discovery.

Conceived with the idea of experiencing the sea in an active and authentic way, the festival transforms the coast into a vast open-air village, where sport, music and community come together in a continuous experience, from the early hours of the morning until nightfall. The motto “Make memories by the sea” captures the spirit of the event: four days in which the public takes centre stage, taking part in activities, challenges and moments of sharing.

During the day, the beach and the sea become a dynamic arena dedicated to lessons, demonstrations, tournaments and competitions, accessible even to those trying these sports for the first time. From water sports such as surfing, SUP, e-foil, wingfoil, sailing and diving, to beach sports and activities focused on wellbeing, the programme offers a varied experience blending adrenaline and relaxation.

Key events include competitions of national and international significance, such as the Water Festival Trophy – Lift E-Foil Battle Race, the FISSW SUP Race, the FITP Beach Tennis Open and the FIPAV B2 Beach Volleyball Tournament, alongside contests and special events.

As the sun sets, the pace shifts without losing any of its intensity: the village and the main stage come alive with talks, live music and DJ sets, creating an atmosphere that blends sport and entertainment into a single seamless experience.

With the participation of athletes and riders from all over the world, the Water Festival reaffirms its status as an event with an international reach, capable of showcasing the local area and creating a community that gathers every year to experience the sea in all its forms.
