Sicilia Jazz Festival

Description

The fifth edition of the Sicilia Jazz Festival transforms the city of Palermo into an extraordinary stage for jazz music.

The festival stands out for its original orchestral productions and world premieres, with the Sicilian Jazz Orchestra – The Brass Group as its main feature. International stars such as Victor Wooten, Cecile McLorin Salvant, Piero Pelù and Eliane Elias will perform alongside young talents from Sicilian conservatories.

In addition to the main concerts at the Teatro di Verdura, the festival also extends to the Monumental Complex of Santa Maria dello Spasimo, the Real Teatro Santa Cecilia and the Chiaramonte-Steri Palace, hosting parallel events that further enrich the cultural offering, delivering unique musical experiences in venues of historical and architectural charm. In this setting, Palermo becomes a remarkable backdrop where music, art and history blend into a truly immersive atmosphere.

As jazz melodies echo through the ancient alleys and age-old squares, Sicily reveals its deepest essence — a land where tradition meets innovation, and each note tells a new chapter of its identity.
