Noto Flower Festival 2026

From 15 to 19 May 2026, Noto will celebrate the 47th edition of the Flower Festival, one of Sicily’s most iconic events, which each year transforms the Baroque town into a grand stage for art and creativity.

Along Via Nicolaci, the heart of the event, Italian and international master flower artists create spectacular floral carpets inspired by the theme ‘Pop Culture Tells Its Story’. A visual journey that pays homage to the languages and icons of the 20th century – from music to cinema, from fashion to comics and Pop Art – intertwining contemporary imagery with the timeless elegance of the Baroque.

Amidst legendary figures and artistic references evoking icons such as Andy Warhol and symbols of international music culture, the Flower Festival becomes a collective narrative woven from colours, shapes and scents. The designs, created by artists and schools, come to life through hundreds of thousands of flowers, forming a carpet spanning over 700 square metres that unfolds along the picturesque slope of Via Nicolaci.

In this unique setting, Noto – the famous ‘stone garden’ – offers an extraordinary backdrop: 18th-century palaces, sculpted balconies and urban vistas enhance the charm of an event that blends tradition and innovation.

During the Flower Festival, the historic centre comes alive with Baroque processions, flag-wavers, performances and events dedicated to local culture and traditions, drawing visitors from all over the world.
