Partanna Flower Festival

From 5 to 7 June 2026, the historic centre of Partanna will be transformed into a grand celebration of art and devotion with the fourth edition of the Flower Festival, one of the most evocative events in western Sicily.

Established in 2023 to mark the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, the event involves the entire community in the creation of traditional floral carpets, made from petals and natural materials along the streets of the village. The theme chosen for 2026, “The Contemporary Blooms in Tradition”, explores the intersection of faith and contemporary artistic expression, giving shape to scenes inspired by spiritual figures of our time and local works reinterpreted through ephemeral art. With collective preparation, installations, cultural events, music and guided tours, the historic centre becomes an immersive itinerary culminating in the solemn Eucharistic procession.

The Partanna Flower Festival is an invitation to walk amongst petals and symbols, where shared beauty tells the story of a community’s identity and its ongoing capacity for renewal.
