From February 7th to 17th, 2026, the town of Francavilla di Sicilia comes alive with one of the most engaging celebrations in the Alcantara Valley: its historic Carnevale. The festival is renowned for the spectacular parades of allegorical floats and masked groups that bring music and satire to the town’s main streets.

A distinctive feature of the 2026 Carnival of Francavilla di Sicilia is the tradition of public dances in the squares and local venues, where locals and visitors join in collective dancing until late at night.
