For the occasion, there are free guided tours through the historic center of Bronte and contemporary art exhibitions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also in <strong>September<\/strong>, in <strong><a href=\"\/en\/?p=3543\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">San Vito Lo Capo<\/a><\/strong>, near <a href=\"\/en\/?p=3788\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Trapani,<\/strong><\/a> there is the <strong>Cous Cous Fest<\/strong>: ten days of exciting culinary competitions, couscous tastings, cooking shows of star chefs, cooking classes for adults and children, and concerts nearby the beautiful beach.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cous Cous Fest is not just food: it is the International Festival of cultural integration, an event that celebrates the cous cous dish as peace between peoples.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A dream in late summer is the <strong>Festival of wheat and bread<\/strong> in <strong>September<\/strong>: two days of revival of the simple peasant world in <strong>Catenanuova<\/strong>, in the province of <strong>Enna<\/strong>. Paolo Barone<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In <strong>October<\/strong>, in the small town of <strong>Zafferana on Etna<\/strong>, the <strong>Ottobrata Zafferanese<\/strong> takes place: a weekend dedicated to apples, mushrooms, honey, and chestnuts with the involvement of cooking schools that prepare meals for the visitors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The star of the autumn in <strong>Capizzi<\/strong>, near <a href=\"\/en\/?p=3783\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Messina<\/strong>,<\/a> is the <strong>truffle<\/strong>: the festival takes place in October.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>December<\/strong> we move to <strong>Modica<\/strong>, near <a href=\"\/en\/?p=3785\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ragusa<\/strong>,<\/a> to celebrate its gem: <strong>chocolate<\/strong>. To contrast the overdose of sweetness, let\u2019s walk in the streets of the village, where stands and displays expose typical handcrafted products from Sicily. The day ends with music, entertainment and performances by local folk groups.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Let\u2019s discover the<strong> cassatella with ricotta<\/strong> di <strong>Agira<\/strong>, in the province of <a href=\"\/en\/?p=3297\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Enna<\/strong>:<\/a> it is delicious with pistachio, almond, chocolate and with other tastes. The <strong>festival<\/strong> in its honor is in <strong>November<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Sicily the artichoke can also become a sweet.
