The Sicily less known and, maybe, more authentic. Beautiful places, rich in history and local culture, where lifestyle is just what we all want. Here the community is the protagonist. Let’s find them in Sicily!

Since its inception, in march 2001, the Association “I borghi più belli d’Italia” (Italy’s most beautiful villages), enhances the great heritage of history, art, culture, environment and traditions of the small Italian towns that are often marginalized and ignored by the flows of visitors and tourists, risking depopulation.

To enter the Association, a village must have specific requirements, that must be frequently improved and keeped in the course of time.

Here there are 19 villages: Gangi, Cefalù, Salemi, Monterosso Almo, Erice, Ferla, Castroreale, Montalbano Elicona, Palazzolo Acreide, San Marco d’Alunzio, Novara di Sicilia, Sambuca di Sicilia, Geraci Siculo, Sutera, Petralia Soprana, Sperlinga, Savoca, Castiglione di Sicilia e Castelmola.
