The villages of Sicily, among the most beautiful in Italy

Details

Sicily’s villages, the most beautiful in Italy, reveal the face of a Sicily that is less well-known and perhaps for this reason, more authentic and precious.

They are places of disarming beauty, rich in history and local culture with a lifestyle that, today more than ever, we all seek. The return to a more intimate dimension allows us to experience travel at a slow pace and in a sustainable way, savouring each tiny detail with a slow rhythm so as to treasure it forever in our hearts.

But above all, sensitive to the new priorities and safety requirements dictated by post-Covid tourism, the small Sicilian towns are without a doubt the ideal tourist destination.

The initiative promoted by the Association “I Borghi più Belli d’Italia” (Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages) promotes the great heritage of History, Art, Culture, Environment and Traditions of small Italian towns often marginalised by the flow of visitors and tourists. In order to be admitted, certain requirements must be met and maintained over time.

Here are the villages of Sicily currently present in the Association:

Calascibetta,

Castelmola,

Castiglione di Sicilia,
